“Celery juice is one of the most profound ways, if not the most profound way, to restore digestive health. It is that powerful.” - Anthony William, Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic & Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal
“The ideal amount of celery juice for most adults is a minimum of 16 ounces per day. Not that you have to or necessarily want to start with 16 ounces the first time you try it. Feel free to work your way up, starting with 4 or 8 ounces if you’re sensitive and from there increasing it a little every day as you get used to it. Once you’re ready, it is a good idea to commit to those 16 ounces as a minimum. Why? Because most people have more than a few health obstacles to overcome.
The celery juice must travel quite a distance on its journey. Its first obstacle is often in the mouth, with bacteria or leftover toothpaste, mouthwash, or mouth rinse. (Make sure to thoroughly rinse your mouth with fresh water after brushing your teeth and before drinking celery juice to get rid of any toothpaste, mouthwash, or mouth rinse residue. Even better, wait to brush your teeth until after you’ve had your morning celery juice.)
Then there’s the esophagus, where the celery juice encounters additional bacteria plus deposits of ammonia and unproductive, detrimental acids. Next it reaches a hurdle at the bottom of the stomach pouch, just before the duodenum (the entrance to the small intestine). There’s a little ledge right before the duodenum, and depending on someone’s age, that alone can be filled with decades—sometimes 30 to 40 years’ worth—of debris that has gummed up and weighed down that little cliff. This debris could be from proteins, fats, preservatives, solidified ammonia, acids, and more, all of it corroding and formed into a sludgy deposit. Celery juice’s sodium cluster salts start eating away at this old pile of toxic sludge, slowly dissolving it over time.
So first the celery juice has to get through those obstacles. Then, as the celery juice is moving through the duodenum, it’s usually met with a barrage of H. pylori, Streptococcus, and other varieties of bacteria—because most people live with undiagnosed cases of these bacteria. Celery juice has to fight to sustain itself and stay active in this battle, which is doubly hard since it was already defused from dealing with toothbrushing residues and bacteria in the mouth; ammonia, acid, and more bacteria in the esophagus; and debris as it left the stomach.
As it continues through the duodenum, celery juice is bombarded with acids, since most everybody’s pH is “off” internally in this day and age. It’s not like we’re automatically alkaline. Sure, if someone’s healthy, their pH will be pretty balanced, and celery juice won’t have to do much work in this respect. Most people are filled with bacteria, though, and that’s a big acid producer. Unproductive diets and punishing stress levels are acid producers, too. As soon as we take our first sip, celery juice starts altering the internal pH of the body, beginning with the mouth and continuing down the digestive tract. It’s almost like an explosion as celery juice tries to turn the tide of high acidity, and that’s yet one more source that defuses it in its travels through our system.
Sound like a lot for celery juice to encounter and keep up its strength? There’s more. Just a few inches farther in the small intestinal tract, celery juice encounters a slick of mucus. It’s there in young and old alike—a layer of bottom feeders like strep and E. coli and other unproductive bacteria, usually along with two to three unproductive funguses, all of them just waiting for protein from eggs or supplemental collagen that we consume, or lactose from milk, cheese, butter, or other dairy, so the bugs can feed on them. When celery juice instead hits this pathway of pathogens, it’s yet one more area of battle.
Plus, there are rancid fats that have hardened and caked along the intestinal wall linings from years of high-fat foods, whether from healthy or unhealthy fat sources, as well as rotting protein that has formed into little balls of debris and created pockets in the intestinal tract that guard more bacteria and funguses. Addressing all of this is yet one more series of obstacles for celery juice during its travels.
That’s not even everything; it only describes the major hurdles that celery juice encounters so far. Then add in excess adrenaline—say, if you ate on the run or under stress, with tension in your gut, or if you ate too much fat with your meal the night before without realizing it, any of which prompts the adrenals to release a burst of adrenaline. When this excess adrenaline enters the intestinal tract, it’s a scorcher. It saturates cells all through the body, so if you were under intense stress or encountered another adrenal trigger the day before, when you wake up the next day, the adrenaline is still sitting in the intestinal tract. Celery juice works on neutralizing this adrenaline: yet one more battle. While celery juice will try to handle it, that’s a tall order considering everything else it went through as it traveled along through the gut.
A high-fat dinner does more than trigger adrenaline. Fats left over from dinner linger in the gut, from the stomach to the small intestinal tract to the colon, like an oil slick, and celery juice is up against those, too. High levels of these fats soak up celery juice’s healing compounds, using up sodium cluster salts, since they must go to work dispersing those fats and cleaning them out of the digestive tract. This means that if someone has an extra heavy dinner, maybe with something fried for the main course followed by dessert, celery juice will need to work extra hard the next morning, and that will diminish some of its healing power as it continues on the obstacle course.
The digestive system was only the beginning. The majority of the world is also dealing with stagnant, sluggish livers, and here’s the critical part: enough celery juice has to make it to the colon with its potency intact to be absorbed into the bloodstream so celery juice’s compounds can travel through the hepatic portal vein into the liver and then into the gallbladder—to help you heal. Regardless of what you’re dealing with in life, a healthier liver means a greater chance of healing any variety of symptom or condition you’re up against. Sixteen ounces is the magic number to do this for the majority of adults. (More soon on amounts for children.)
Once celery juice does get to the liver, it encounters another set of hurdles. For one, most people’s livers are toxic with poisons, pesticides, herbicides, plastics and other petrochemicals, solvents, pathogens such as viruses and bacteria, and many more troublemakers. All of this strains the liver’s bile production. When celery juice’s compounds enter the bile production area, if they’re still potent enough, they will improve the strength of the bile that the liver sends to the gallbladder. This celery juice–bolstered bile then starts dismantling and dispersing sludge in the gallbladder while also breaking down and dissolving gallstones. If you’ve been drinking large enough quantities of celery juice for long enough to get your system clean and healthy, celery juice’s compounds will then leave the gallbladder with the bile as it’s released into the intestinal tract. This is part of celery juice’s responsibility: to come full circle.
Not all of celery juice’s healing components that make it to the liver get directed to the bile. Some leave the liver through the bloodstream, heading up to the heart and brain, although their healing abilities by this point are pretty minimal if someone has a sluggish or stagnant liver, which most people do. It takes time for someone to clean up the liver to the point that celery juice’s components still hold benefits as they exit this way.
That’s okay, though, because celery juice has another way of getting its potent components to the bloodstream. Back when celery juice was first in the digestive tract, only some of it—roughly half— traveled to the liver in the first place. It divided itself on the obstacle course. While traveling through the stomach and the first 36 inches of the small intestine, the other half of celery juice’s chemical compounds absorbed into the digestive tract walls and entered the bloodstream directly without going to the liver first. Traveling through the blood is its own set of hurdles. How much fat is in the blood? (Fats interfere with celery juice’s travel distance.) How many toxins are in the blood? How many toxic heavy metals are inside various organs such as the brain? Speaking of the brain, how many neurotransmitter chemical issues are occurring there? All of this defuses and weakens any strength that celery juice has left. If neurotransmitter chemicals in the brain are diminished, celery juice’s compounds get used up in instantly replacing them, making this their final destination, in a way. If heavy metals need to be dislodged, celery juice’s sodium cluster salts get consumed with helping them out of the body.
Given the gargantuan scope of celery juice’s job, you can see why you’d want to drink enough of it to get that job done. The next time someone is quizzing you about why you drink this particular amount of celery juice, well, it’s up to you. You could give them the play-by-play of its travels through the digestive tract and beyond (in which case you probably want to make sure they aren’t eating!). You could give them the condensed version: celery juice has huge responsibilities and an obstacle course to overcome as it travels through your body and works on healing it. Or you could hand them this book. Whichever you choose, now you know, and that’s critical, because connecting to the “whys” of celery juice makes it all the more powerful.”

“If you have a shaky history with sodium and the word makes you nervous, let me assure you that the sodium in celery juice is beneficial. Even if you’re on a low-sodium diet, you can still have celery juice. It’s not like eating a food that’s had table salt—or even healthier salts like Himalayan rock salt or Celtic sea salt—thrown on it. While your body does not see regular salt added to food as a friend, it accepts the sodium from celery juice as one of its own.
Celery juice is on your side. It actually removes crystallized toxic salts that have been in your organs for years. Now, if you get a blood test when you’re on celery juice, it could show elevated sodium. What the test is really detecting are these old, toxic salts that celery juice is rounding up and sending out of your body. Plus, chances are you haven’t given up table salt, so the blood analysis is picking up on that salt in your system as well. Blood testing isn’t nuanced enough to pick up on the difference.
A blood test could detect some sodium from celery juice, too, although it’s going to be what I call macro sodium, a common form of plant sodium that’s entirely healthy and needed. It’s so beneficial and balancing that it doesn’t spike the blood—meaning that if a blood test is displaying elevated sodium, celery juice’s sodium isn’t causing it. Elevated sodium levels are also not caused by celery juice’s sodium cluster salts. A blood test isn’t sensitive enough to pick up on celery juice’s sodium cluster salts; testing isn’t geared to find them, because they’re a subgroup of sodium that hasn’t been discovered yet by research and science.
So celery juice’s beneficial macro sodium only stabilizes the blood; it won’t lead to high sodium readings. Again, though, it could take a little time to get to those stabilized readings, or they could come and go, because (1) it’s really easy to overindulge in table salt, since it’s practically everywhere, and that’s going to show up on a blood test, and (2) periodically, celery juice is going to be clearing out pockets of old, toxic salt as it reaches them deep in the organs, and that’s going to throw off blood test interpretations.
Celery juice’s complicated structures of beneficial sodium are elevated above other types, with different jobs and responsibilities. This is an entirely different make and model of sodium. It serves as a critical component of neurotransmitters—better said, it’s the ultimate neurotransmitter chemical. It’s what makes celery juice the most powerful electrolyte beverage on the planet. Nothing can surpass or even equal it.
Let’s talk more about the undiscovered subgroup of celery juice’s sodium that I call sodium cluster salts. “Sodium” and “salt” may sound a bit redundant, and yet it communicates that they are mineral salts that cluster around the macro sodium in celery juice. That is, sodium cluster salts are a separate acting group of compounds that surround the element we know as sodium in celery, all of it arranged in a structured form, almost like our solar system. Trace minerals also reside in these living, moving clusters. Some trace minerals are bonded to the sodium cluster salts themselves, and some simply float inside the clusters.
There is information for us within these clusters. That’s rare. For the most part, plants are all about themselves. (Sound a bit like humans sometimes?) The information they contain is largely geared to sustaining themselves in their habitat, to accessing nourishment, to survival. Celery is different. Some of its information is for us, or for other animals consuming it. Sodium cluster salts aren’t there as a defense mechanism or to keep the celery healthy as it’s growing; they aren’t there to keep the plant alive. They’re for us. Sodium cluster salts contain information for our own well-being that’s activated when it enters our bodies. Information from the plant—the herb—itself and information from the sun as the plant was growing. Information about its purpose and how it can help the creature consuming it. Information about the complex job of extending our lives. Even if celery is grown in poor soil, it will still possess its cluster salts.
All salt is not the same. Although it can be easy to believe that sodium is sodium whether it’s in the ocean, a vegetable, soil, rock, or a salt lake, it’s not. If viewing it properly in a chemist’s lab, a technician would discover the various salts contained within the sodium in celery juice. That technician would find that the salts cluster around each other, acting as one—as the sodium in no other herb, vegetable, or mineral does. Not even the salt in the ocean behaves in the particular way that this humble herb’s does.
The sodium cluster salts in celery juice are able to neutralize toxins as they’re floating through the bloodstream and organs. That means that when the cluster salts touch them, they disarm the troublemakers, making them more friendly and acceptable to the body and less toxic, so that they don’t do harm to our human cells and organ tissue.
Toxic heavy metals are a particular type of toxin that celery juice’s sodium cluster salts take on. Heavy metals have a destructive, active charge to them that causes the metals to be damaging to liver cells, brain cells, and other cells throughout the body. Cluster salts defuse the charge, rendering them inactive and less aggressive, specifically disarming toxic heavy metals such as copper, mercury, and aluminum.
Sodium cluster salts also fight off unwanted bacteria and viruses. (You’ll read so much more about this ability throughout the next chapter.) Tricky bugs such as strep can’t become resistant or immune to them, the way they can to pharmaceutical antibiotics, so the cluster salts keep on working as you drink celery juice over time. Celery juice’s mineral salts are able to kill off bacterial, fungal, and viral overgrowth as they travel through the small intestine and colon, and even once they’re absorbed into the bloodstream and pulled up into the liver through the hepatic portal vein. They’re an incredible antiseptic in this way, enhancing your entire body’s immune system.
These mineral salts are also able to support the liver in producing bile. That’s partly because the cluster salts enter the bile to make it stronger and partly because the celery juice rejuvenates the liver overall, allowing it to function properly and produce bile more efficiently. This is one aspect of what makes celery juice extraordinary for the liver.
To recap: The sodium in celery juice is suspended in living water within the celery. Inside that living water are sodium cluster salts, tightly connected to it. So the cluster salts surround and suspend sodium, and they’re also varieties of sodium themselves. The different forms of sodium become one and they’re also separate. That’s how celery juice is structured. Medical research and science haven’t identified this yet because they haven’t tried to look beyond “celery has salt.” It’s not nearly that simple. If they analyze it superficially, it’s going to look like salt. If they analyzed it further, they would be able to separate out and identify the different varieties of sodium within celery juice. And then they would be closer to identifying all that these sodium cluster salts do for our health.
Rather than having to wait decades for these medical answers, you already hold them in your hands. You’ll find out so much about the surprising and potent benefits of sodium cluster salts throughout this book, particularly in the next chapter, “Relief from Your Symptoms and Conditions.”

The best juicer for juicing celery is a cold press masticating juicer. Masticating juicers more gently and slowly extract the juice from celery and don’t generate as much heat during the juicing process. This helps to preserve as much of the nutrients in your celery as possible and minimize oxidation.
My favorite masticating juicer for celery juice is the MM900HDS Omega Low Speed Masticating Celery Juicer–it’s so good we have licensed our name for use on this model. This juicer was specially designed to extract as much juice as possible from celery specifically–more than any other juicer model. This means you will use less celery to get your sixteen ounces or more of celery juice than you would if you used another juicer model. The result is that you spend less money on celery.
Masticating juicers such as this one also juice celery with very little heat being generated. When a juicer generates too much heat in the juicing process it oxidizes the celery and diminishes its nutrient value more quickly. The MM900HDS Omega Low Speed Masticating Celery Juicer produces high-quality, cold-pressed juice. It uses a low speed of 80 RPMs, which results in minimal heat buildup and oxidation and more nutrient-rich juice.
This juicer is a dual stage juicer, which means the juice is first extracted by crushing the fruit or vegetable. Then, before the pulp is ejected, the pulp is squeezed during the second pressed stage. This results in a higher yield of juice and a very dry pulp. The MM900HDS Omega Low Speed Masticating Celery Juicer has an adjustable celery end cap attachment for maximum celery juice output and extraction and also includes a standard adjustable end cap for juicing other produce. There are 3 adjustable pressure settings on each.
Another benefit of the MM900HDS Omega Low Speed Masticating Celery Juicer is that it’s quiet. This makes it the perfect juicer for making celery juice first thing in the morning–because celery juice is best consumed in the morning on an empty stomach–without waking up anyone else in your home.
Centrifugal juicers will still juice celery, but they just won’t extract as much juice or preserve as many nutrients. Celery juice made in a centrifugal juicer and consumed right away is still healing. However, if you are able to use the MM900HDS Omega Low Speed Masticating Celery Juicer, the juice produced will be higher quality, richer in nutrients, you’ll get more juice from less celery.
As mentioned, the MM900HDS Omega Low Speed Masticating Celery Juicer was built to maximize juice extraction from celery, however it also juices fruits, vegetables, leafy greens and wheatgrass so you can use it for any juice you desire. You can find out more about the MM900HDS Omega Low Speed Masticating Celery Juicer on Omega’s website.
It’s important to drink fresh celery juice alone on an empty stomach in order to receive its healing benefits. Aim for 16 ounces or more in the morning at least 15 to 30 minutes before breakfast. Otherwise—if, say, you drank your celery juice right along with your breakfast or had it with an afternoon snack—you would miss out on its full healing power. The same goes if you add anything to your celery juice, such as lemon, apple, kale, collagen, apple cider vinegar, or even water or ice. All of these additions lower or cancel out the benefits of pure, unadulterated celery juice consumed alone.
If you blend celery into your smoothie or eat celery sticks, you also won’t receive the tremendous healing benefits celery juice offers. For example, if you add celery to your smoothie, the sodium cluster salts in celery juice that are responsible for so much of the healing that people all around the globe are experiencing, won’t get to your brain. If you blend up whole celery and drink it with the fiber still in it, the cluster salts also won’t get to your brain. If you eat celery sticks instead of juicing them, drink celery juice when your stomach is full of other food, put celery in with other ingredients in a green juice, or add collagen, activated charcoal, apple cider vinegar, or any other ingredient to your celery juice, the cluster salts won’t get to your brain. This is just one of many ways these additions will rob you of the healing benefits pure celery juice can offer you.
Let’s take a look at some of the ingredients NOT to add to celery juice, but in short, this is what to add to celery juice: nothing. Keep your 16 ounces of celery juice straight.
If you have water or lemon water upon waking before your celery juice, wait at least 15 to 30 minutes to drink your plain celery juice. Then wait at least 15 to 30 minutes after your celery juice to have your breakfast.

Celery juice is a one-ingredient drink. Even a juice blend of celery plus one other ingredient such as lemon juice throws off the benefits that you want when you first get up for the day. If you like other juice blends, that’s great; they’re good for you. Save them for later in the day. For your special 16-ounce celery juice on an empty stomach, make it celery only. If you purchase celery juice from stores in bottles, oftentimes they are made with both celery and lemon juice. These juices will not offer you the healing benefits you are drinking them for. Plus, there are issues with pre-bottled celery juice, too. Read about those below.
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
Keep it away from your celery juice. It’s one of the swiftest ways to render your celery juice completely useless; you won’t obtain a single benefit from celery juice if ACV is mixed into it. Celery juice’s sodium cluster salts, digestive enzymes, and plant hormones will be instantly destroyed. Its vitamin C will be instantly rendered unusable. Celery juice’s structure on the whole will be instantly spoiled. Because of money-driven interests and agendas, though, adding ACV to celery juice will keep being perpetuated as a great source of health. Don’t let the arguments sway you. Instead, remind yourself that when ACV hits celery juice, it oxidizes the celery juice immediately, making it go bad.
Fruit, Greens & Vegetable Juices
Just like lemon juice, adding any ingredients like kale, apple, carrot, and cucumber to your celery juice will greatly diminish its healing properties. As tempting as it is to add some kale, apple, lemon, ginger, carrot, or another food, keep that for another juice later in the day.
Water or Ice
Celery juice and plain water are so different that it’s not a good idea to mix them. This is why I advise against diluting celery juice with water or adding ice cubes to it. Regular water renders celery juice’s benefits useless. It’s also why I advise against dehydrating celery or celery juice and then reconstituting it with water. That doesn’t re-create a glass of celery juice, because regular water isn’t living.
Collagen is one of the most disastrous items you can mix with celery juice. The minute you combine supplemental collagen with celery juice in your body, you cancel out celery juice’s benefits. Every last sodium cluster salt and enzyme in the juice reacts to the supplemental collagen negatively, as if it were a toxin. As soon as the celery juice–collagen mixture enters your mouth and stomach, the celery juice’s cluster salts attach themselves to the foreign collagen and try to rid it from the body via the intestinal tract. Trouble is, collagen’s sticky presence engulfs the sodium cluster salts, absorbing them even as the cluster salts are trying to neutralize the supplemental collagen.
There are unbelievable benefits to celery juice, and you lose those by mixing it with collagen. The juice’s sole purpose becomes trying to carry foreign collagen out through the intestinal tract. The supplemental collagen doesn’t even enter the bloodstream; the body eliminates it as waste. Any foreign collagen that does escape the intestinal tract walls gets directed to the liver, giving the organ yet one more troublemaker to sort and stow away.
Taking supplemental collagen (especially in celery juice, which should never be done) doesn’t help skin, joints, hair, and nails. The best action we can take is to support our bodies in producing their own collagen (and bile). For that, you need antioxidants, the proper vitamin B12, and the sulfur that naturally occurs in vegetables, as well as the zinc, magnesium, calcium, and silica found in foods and supplements. Along with drinking your pure celery juice regularly and detoxing the liver of its toxic load, these are the elements that truly support you. As much as you might have heard that supplementing with collagen can help with all of this, know the truth: that’s a mistaken theory, one that only ends up taking advantage of consumers.
Protein Powder and Activated Charcoal
Adding protein powder or activated charcoal to celery juice are two more trends that have been developing. Both of these products will prevent the sodium cluster salts in celery juice from providing you with their healing benefits.
HPP and Bottled Celery Juice
HPP stands for high-pressure pasteurization, and it means that rather than being freshly cold-pressed, bottled, and put on the shelf for you that day, the juice was delivered from a manufacturing plant. The pasteurization process of HPP doesn’t require heat, and this can lead to the illusion that it’s raw. Quite the contrary. Juice that’s been put through HPP has been denatured. Its cell structures have changed shape and form through this new process that hasn’t been time tested. Regular pasteurization is a heating process that’s shown its safety over the course of hundreds of years. Not that you want regularly pasteurized celery juice, either—you want it fresh and raw. Assuming that HPP means it’s raw juice is a mistaken assumption, though. In theory, it’s raw. In reality, it’s been hindered and compromised to sustain shelf life.
The reason to be wary of HPP is that it’s not going to bring you the health benefits of celery juice. I can see many people picking up HPP celery juice, trying it for a while, and then giving up because their symptoms and conditions haven’t improved. Don’t let that be you. It’s okay to drink celery juice that has been bottled that day by an in-store juice bar and put on the shelf, however it’s important to always check when that celery juice was made so it really was that day. If you’re able to, it would be even better to wait for a juice to be made fresh right in front of you, or to call ahead and organize for your juice to be made at the time you can pick it up.
Celery Tablets and Powder
Never think you’re going to get the same results from celery tablets or powders that you will from fresh celery juice. While some herbs and fruits can benefit you in dried or powdered form, these alternate forms of celery are a waste of money and do not offer anything that celery juice does. The healing benefits come from fresh, pure juiced celery. Please be aware that the Celeryforce supplement I love and have talked about multiple times is NOT a celery powder or celery tablet. This supplement doesn’t contain any celery at all and is instead a complementary supplement to drinking celery juice that you would take 30 minutes before or after celery juice.

In this article, I’ll be sharing the truth about a range of skin conditions, from eczema and psoriasis to keratosis pilaris and others. Some of these skin conditions, such as eczema, are considered to be autoimmune conditions. Before I share more about skin conditions and how celery juice can help, it’s first critical to understand that the autoimmune theory that suggests the body attacks itself is inherently flawed. The truth is that your body never attacks itself. It’s always working for you and loves you unconditionally. There is a real reason for your symptoms and conditions and it’s vitally important to know what that is and why so many health conditions are said to be autoimmune today. I provide a full explanation of what I call the “autoimmune confusion” in Medical Medium Celery Juice: The Most Powerful Medicine of Our Time Healing Millions Worldwide and also check out Medical Medium Thyroid Healing: The Truth behind Hashimoto's, Graves', Insomnia, Hypothyroidism, Thyroid Nodules & Epstein-Barr.
The real cause of skin conditions that are labelled as autoimmune is a cocktail of viruses and heavy metals that can be found in your liver. What does this have to do with your skin? Everything.
Eczema and Psoriasis
Put simply, most skin conditions are caused by viruses in the body. Eczema and psoriasis, for example, are the result of a low-grade herpetic viral infection inside the liver. As I share in Medical Medium Celery Juice, “Most commonly, that virus is Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). When the virus feeds off toxic copper and mercury that are also in the liver and then excretes them, that copper turns into a dermatoxin. These dermatoxins build up and exit the liver, eventually finding their way to the lower levels of the dermis. Once there, the body tries to detox them by pushing the dermatoxins up through the skin. This can lead to almost 100 varieties of rashes that are deemed to be eczema or psoriasis or are given different names. In none of these cases is the immune system attacking the skin. That’s an inaccurate explanation that comes out of misunderstanding how eczema and psoriasis really work.” Medical research and science are unaware that this is the true cause of these skin conditions.
It’s not difficult to have a build up of toxic heavy metals in your body for viruses to feed on. Copper, which is partly responsible for skin conditions like eczema, can be passed down through your family line or you can be exposed to it in daily life. Copper pots and pans in restaurants that have been scraped and overused are a common source. So too are copper pipes. Pesticides are another source of toxic copper that build up in the liver from years of eating conventional food products and being exposed to pesticides used on your garden or nearby farms. Mercury is another part of the equation when it comes to psoriasis.
Rosacea and Actinic Keratosis
Rosacea is a particular form of eczema that can appear in many forms on the face and neck. Actinic keratosis is another form of eczema. People with more advanced, aggressive cases of eczema and psoriasis usually have a higher toxic heavy metal load and viral load inside the liver. It’s critical to start removing the toxic heavy metals from your body by including the five foods for safe and effective heavy metal detox daily: cilantro, wild blueberries, barley grass juice powder, spirulina, and Atlantic dulse. A convenient way to have these foods daily is in the Medical Medium Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie.
Medical research and science are unaware that vitiligo is caused by a virus such as HHV-6 or EBV feeding on aluminum and traces of formaldehyde in the liver and elsewhere in the body, releasing an aluminum-based dermatoxin that, when it enters the skin, destroys the melanin pigments inside skin cells. This is what leads to the white spots and other discolorations that occur for someone living with vitiligo. It is not the skin’s immune system attacking the skin pigment. It is a real illness with a real cause. Aluminum byproduct can float around the bloodstream, waiting to interact with an underlying viral infection, due to something as seemingly minor as your last fluoride treatment at your dentist office (fluoride is an aluminium byproduct). Eventually, science and research will catch on to the effects of viruses and heavy metals on the skin but for now this information is unknown.
This type of rash is caused by EBV feeding off mercury and aluminum, creating a dermatoxin that surfaces to the skin in areas where important lymphatic highways reside. It’s why butterfly-shaped rashes can appear on the face, along with other forms of rashes that can land somebody a diagnosis of lupus. Once again, this is not the body attacking itself. It is a low-grade viral infection. Many people with lupus also get diagnosed separately with EBV because the doctor sees EBV come through in a blood test. Usually, they still won’t associate the virus with the lupus-style rashes. If a lupus patient visits a Lyme doctor, they may end up with a Lyme diagnosis as well—still not realizing that it all traces back to the same source: EBV.

Celery Juice and the Skin
Drinking celery juice can help heal each of these skin conditions and a multitude of others, including acne, prematurely aging skin, and dehydrated skin. Celery juice works such wonders on the skin for three primary reasons: coumarins, vitamin C, and sodium cluster salts.
Coumarins from celery juice travel to the top of the skin and reinvigorate skin cells from the inside out. This results in less skin cell death, less deterioration, and it supports nerves and blood flow. Many people are getting facials or visiting the sauna for the results they could see if celery juice was consistently consumed daily in the way I recommend in Medical Medium Celery Juice.
The vitamin C in celery juice is unique from that found in other foods. This special form restores the liver’s immune system, increasing its capacity to fight off viruses and bacteria. Science and research know that there are white blood cells in the liver, but what they don’t know is that there are six different types of immune cells specific to the liver. For more information on this, take a look at Liver Rescue. You may take vitamin C supplements and that is important, but the vitamin C found in celery juice is different in that it doesn’t need to be converted. I’m not saying that supplements aren’t beneficial, because high-quality supplements of the right kind absolutely are, but celery juice offers this unique vitamin C that is part of the reason so many people around the globe are healing by drinking straight celery juice every day.
Sodium cluster salts are a natural subgroup of sodium that is found in celery. Research and science are still unaware of these cluster salts and how they help the body heal. These sodium cluster salts act as a poison to viruses and bacteria while remaining completely nontoxic and healing to your body. Celery juice also disarms the destructive charge of toxic heavy metals inside the body and helps the liver—where the toxins and pathogens responsible for skin conditions reside—to heal. I cover all of these healing properties of celery juice in great depth in Medical Medium Celery Juice.
As celery juice kills off the underlying viruses behind so many skin conditions and heals your body in the other ways mentioned and more, over time you will see your skin improve. I always recommend also bringing in the other healing guidance I include in the Medical Medium books, such as Medical Medium Celery Juice and Liver Rescue, along with celery juice, in order to heal. Celery juice is a powerful tool, but it takes more than one 16-ounce glass. It also takes cutting out certain foods, such as eggs, dairy products, pork, gluten, canola oil, soy, and fried foods. I share the foods to avoid and the foods to emphasize and why in Liver Rescue.
For those with more severe cases of eczema, drinking celery juice may appear to cause some initial symptomatic reactions. The reason for this is that in severe cases, the person will have a higher viral load and build-up of toxic heavy metals in the liver. When you first start drinking celery juice, then, the byproducts of this viral load feeding on the metals—the dermatoxins—get pushed out through the skin. It’s important to know that it isn’t the celery juice making your symptoms worse; the celery juice is effectively killing off the virus and detoxifying the dermatoxins.
The truth is that eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions can absolutely be healed. If you’ve been told you will have to live with it forever or that it’s genetic or autoimmune, you can now find peace in knowing this isn’t true. You can heal; it just takes understanding the true cause and taking the steps necessary to address it. For some, skin conditions improve rapidly. For others, it can take some time. Have patience and keep persisting. Read the Medical Medium books and apply what you learn so you have the tools and information you need to heal. Also check out Medical Medium Instagram where we repost people’s stories of healing eczema, psoriasis and all kinds of other skin conditions. You will find so much inspiration, hope and support with the Medical Medium community there. Healing is possible for you. I am with you and I support you.
If you’ve struggled with your weight, you may have been told it’s because you have a slow metabolism so you gain unwanted weight easily. Or perhaps you’ve struggled to keep weight on and been told it’s because your metabolism is “too fast”. None of this is true. When it comes to weight issues, you might be surprised to learn that metabolism actually isn’t the problem. Placing the blame on metabolism has distracted us from understanding what’s really going on.
I know it might sound contrary to everything you’ve been told, but read on to learn the true cause of weight issues. This is advanced healing information that will put your health and healing back in your hands.
First, let’s begin with what metabolism is in the first place. The discovery of metabolism is simply the finding that we consume food, which provides energy that makes our bodies run and keeps us alive. That’s it. That process is metabolism. Blaming faulty metabolism for weight issues is incorrect and disempowering. There are deeper reasons people struggle with weight and it’s these deeper reasons that are behind why one person can eat healthy and exercise and still gain weight and someone else can eat processed food for most meals and stay thin.
Your Best Ally for Healthy Weight: Your Liver
The true cause of what’s deemed “slow metabolism” is actually a sluggish, stagnant, toxic liver. I describe how this develops in Liver Rescue: Answers to Eczema, Psoriasis, Diabetes, Strep, Acne, Gout, Bloating, Gallstones, Adrenal Stress, Fatigue, Fatty Liver, Weight Issues, SIBO & Autoimmune Disease. Once you understand what’s really causing weight problems, and liver problems, you’ll see that the focus on metabolism is misinformation.
When someone struggles with excess weight, it’s a great burden, physically and emotionally. Sadly, weight is judged and viewed in such a negative way in this world. People with extra weight may not be taken seriously. They may be viewed by others as lazy or incapable of taking care of themselves and their families. They may even get made fun of. All of this is heartbreaking and wrong. Your weight has nothing to do with your soul. It has nothing to do with who you are as a person. But struggles with weight certainly do have an impact on quality of life, and that’s why it’s important to get to the root cause and the real answers.
In Liver Rescue, I refer to the troublemakers that lead to a sluggish and toxic liver (which eventually leads to weight issues), including:
These are just some of the factors that lead to a sluggish liver, which in turn leads to the eventual weight issues discussed.
The Path to Healing
Celery juice is one of your healing tools for correcting weight issues. Celery is an herb (not a vegetable) that when juiced and consumed on an empty stomach every morning disarms (aim fo 16 ounces or more) and flushes out toxins. It also disperses fat cells that attach to and surround toxins. I describe how this miraculous herbal tonic works in Medical Medium Celery Juice: The Most Powerful Medicine of Our Time Healing Millions Worldwide and exactly how to consume it to receive its many healing benefits. Celery juice powerfully cleans, strengthens and revives the liver.
When someone is experiencing unwanted weight gain it means their liver has been collecting and storing an abundance of fat cells. And that happens because the liver has been beaten down and burdened by toxins and pathogens (often combined with a diet that’s too high in fat, as almost everybody is eating too much fat, even though they don’t realize it). Once the liver is maxed out with fat cells, weight starts to show up on the body.
If you feel like you’re always battling a pound or two, or you’re always in the gym but you can’t knock off the extra weight, it’s likely because your liver is burdened, filled with fat, toxins and viruses. Your liver—not metabolism—is responsible for weight issues throughout the body. Thankfully, with the information provided here you can support your liver so it can heal and weight can regulate.
People who deal with weight issues are also often dealing with lymphatic issues. That’s because when the liver gets overloaded and sluggish, then the blood and lymphatic system get clogged up too. Fortunately, celery juice not only cleans up the liver, but also the blood, the lymphatic system and every other part of the body and brain.
The healing chemical compounds in celery juice drop down into the digestive system, absorb into the intestinal tract walls, go through the hepatic portal vein and then enter the liver. The celery juice cleans and heals along this pathway until it arrives at the liver like a medicinal infusion, helping the liver and the entire body to function and heal. Unknown to research and science, the liver performs more than 2,000 chemical functions. See Liver Rescue to learn more about this incredible organ and how to care for it. The liver’s role in our health is paramount—and severely misunderstood and under-appreciated. In truth, a large part of how the liver works is a complete mystery to medical research and science, and certainly how an overburdened liver is responsible for mystery weight problems.
Remember, your liver is a nesting place for the troublemakers I mentioned earlier and those listed in Liver Rescue. And celery juice, as I describe in Medical Medium Celery Juice, contains a subgroup of sodium I call “sodium cluster salts” that strip down the outer membrane of viral cells, breaking them down and flushing them out of the body. Those cluster salts also bind onto viral debris, helping the body flush those out as well. Celery juice plays a similar role when it comes to toxic heavy metals and chemicals. Celery juice’s compounds flow through the bloodstream, disarming the destructive charge of toxins and moving them out of the body. These toxins and poisons in the body trigger unseen allergic reactions, which trigger the adrenals and can lead to higher heart rate, especially in people who experience unwelcome mystery weight loss. They also slow the liver’s ability to perform its critical functions.
Another property of celery juice is it breaks down and helps dissolve fat cells that are stored in the liver, allowing the fat cells to be urinated out and eliminated from the body. This is an important distinction to make: fat cells are broken down and eliminated and that’s how weight loss occurs. It does not occur from fat being “burned” like the metabolism theory implies, which you now know is incorrect. Celery juice is also loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that feed and strengthen the liver. It’s a medicinal elixir that allows your liver—and the rest of your body and brain—to function at its best. As the celery juice cleans up the liver, excess weight will begin to shed too.
If you’re someone who is underweight or deals with unwanted weight loss, you’ll experience the benefits from celery juice too. Unwanted, mystery weight loss is usually the result of a chronic, low-grade viral infection, such as EBV, inside the liver, setting off the body’s alarm system, essentially creating an allergic reaction that prompts the adrenals to release consistently high levels of adrenaline. Basically, the adrenaline acts as an amphetamine. Often, mystery weight loss doesn’t last forever, because eventually the liver becomes so tired, sluggish, and exhausted from fielding mass amounts of adrenaline that the situation flips, and people start gaining weight instead, even if it’s ten years later. The beauty of celery juice is that it’s a great balancer, bringing life back to your liver and helping your body to return to a healthy weight for you.
If you’re experiencing weight issues of any kind (or if you simply want to take preventative action for your overall health), consider these tips:
Your life is precious. These are your years, your months, your days. I am here to give you answers to your symptoms and conditions, including weight issues, and the information on how to heal so you can start taking back control of your life and your health. Now you know that weight issues aren’t because of your metabolism or genetics or even aging. They’re because of a sick liver that needs your attention. You have the power to care for your liver and achieve a healthy weight. You deserve to heal.
Women's reproductive health problems have become rampant. Nine out of 10 women have at least one of these issues: hormone imbalance, endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, cysts, breast density, HPV, infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), infertility, or another. Worse, 10 out of 10 women have one of these hormonal or reproductive issues brewing—a problem is developing that will show up in time.
Somehow, we’ve come to think this is normal and that these problems are just part of being a woman. I can assure you this is not the case—it isn’t something any woman should have to live with or consider normal. As I explain in Medical Medium Celery Juice: The Most Powerful Medicine of Our Time Healing Millions Worldwide, celery juice is truly a healing weapon for all these women’s health challenges.
For decades, the medical system has blamed hormones for women’s suffering, as though feeling terrible is simply part of being female. This hormone blame game goes back to the 1950s and 1960s when women started experiencing increasing health problems, and health professionals either concluded it was “just hormones” or that these women were crazy, bored or lazy.
This is all negligent and inaccurate, but we’ve been trained to believe hormones (and now genes too) are the cause of everything. This belief is so disempowering. I made women's reproductive issues a major part of Medical Medium Celery Juice, which describes the unknown true causes of almost 200 different symptoms and conditions, to bring truth to this area of health. The health of the adrenals also play a role in the reproductive system because the adrenals produce a majority of the reproductive hormones, including estrogen and progesterone. Thyroid health is often also lumped in with hormonal health, which is why I am addressing it briefly here also. (I talk about thyroid health more in Thyroid Healing: The Truth behind Hashimoto's, Graves', Insomnia, Hypothyroidism, Thyroid Nodules & Epstein-Barr.)
What’s really causing women’s reproductive symptoms and conditions are viruses, bacteria, toxic heavy metals, toxic hormones, industrial chemicals and other poisons. The reproductive system collects a tremendous amount of these toxins, which have become prolific since the Industrial Revolution. These pathogens and toxins are passed down through our bloodlines and we also contract them and are exposed to them in our day-to-day lives.
Celery Juice and Reproductive Health
Celery juice is incredible for the reproductive system because it protects against pathogens and toxins. Celery juice has an incredible cleaning power; it binds onto, breaks down, neutralizes and escorts viruses, bacteria, toxic heavy metals, contaminants, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, petrochemicals and the toxic hormones and estrogens that come from foods, plastics and chemicals. Celery juice contains a living water that’s filled with undiscovered cluster salts, trace minerals and phytochemicals that flush out these troublemakers. You can read all about this water and how it supports healing in Medical Medium Celery Juice.
Celery juice also nourishes and feeds the reproductive system on all levels. It feeds the breast ducts, uterus, and ovaries. It helps restore cells and healthy hormones by providing nutrients and trace minerals to reproductive organs and glands.
As I describe in Medical Medium Celery Juice, there are undiscovered plant hormones in celery juice that help stabilize hormones in women. Celery juice also has anti-tumor and anti-adhesion properties.
Celery juice hydrates the reproductive system, which is a major factor in its overall health and function. We eat so much salt in our culture that we essentially pickle the reproductive system and suck the water right out of it.
This juice does wonders for the reproductive and hormonal systems, but the benefits go deeper yet. With regular use, celery juice cleanses and frees the liver over time. The juice’s travel velocity and saturation rate is unmatched by any other food or herb on the planet, and it helps release poisons and toxins that have accumulated in the body and especially in the liver.
How Your Liver is Connected to Your Reproductive and Hormonal Health
I share in Liver Rescue: Answers to Eczema, Psoriasis, Diabetes, Strep, Acne, Gout, Bloating, Gallstones, Adrenal Stress, Fatigue, Fatty Liver, Weight Issues, SIBO & Autoimmune Disease how the liver’s health sets the foundation for the rest of the body’s health. When the liver is too overwhelmed with pathogens and toxins, and when we eat a diet high in fat that further bogs the body down, the liver can’t do its job filtering and cleaning and detoxifying. Over a period of years, this critical organ becomes sluggish, fatty, lazy and saturated. That’s when the poisons end up in our bloodstream, our organs and our tissues.
If you can do only one thing from the Medical Medium information, do celery juice. Read Medical Medium Celery Juice to find out how to use it correctly in order to get its benefits. There’s a very important and specific way to consume it that I explain in the book. Here’s how this herbal medicine (yes, celery is an herb) helps women’s health issues:
Breast density. When toxins build up in breast tissue, they create density and cause the connective tissue to lose elasticity and viscosity. When the liver has already reached its maximum capacity of toxins, the lymphatic system becomes a secondary filtration system. The breast is a lymph system. When poisons and toxic heavy metals start to accumulate there, saturation happens quickly, and breast tissue becomes dense.
In addition to toxins, another leading contributor to breast density is the calcium in dairy products. This form of calcium is not a healthy calcium. It’s an aggressive calcium. It becomes fuel for pathogens and bugs, and it’s antagonistic to women’s health. I explain why it’s so important to remove dairy from the diet when trying to heal or look after your health in Thyroid Healing.
Dehydration of breast tissue is another cause of breast density. The toxins that have accumulated in the tissue keep cells from being revitalized. Then if there’s no living water (which is present in abundance in celery juice) to flush out the tissue and keep it healthy and hydrated, more problems mount. In addition to celery juice, you can use other living drinks at different times to stay hydrated, such as lemon or lime water, cucumber juice, melon juice, and fresh squeezed orange juice. Go ahead and add some raw honey to your lemon or lime water if you’d like—honey is antiviral and antipathogenic.
The Epstein Barr virus is responsible for some of the more advanced breast conditions and issues, including some forms of breast cancer. Here again, celery juice comes to the rescue by breaking down the virus over time and flushing it out of your body.
Cysts. Reproductive cysts can develop from a range of toxins, including heavy metals, pesticides, funcidies, herbicides, and viruses like Epstein-Barr. These cysts can be benign or cancerous, depending on the toxins you have and how aggressive the variety of Epstein-Barr (there are more than 60 varieties—the virus has mutated, and some versions are quite old while others are brand new).
Many cysts are lymphatic vessel scar tissue surrounding the reproductive system that became inflamed and hardened, and maybe even calcified, due to viral infection.
Cysts tend to thrive energetically around toxins and around toxic unhealthy cells. You’ll want to follow the “no foods” lists from the Medical Medium books to ensure you’re not supporting the growth of cysts and other health problems, and also try some of the supplements I suggest to support your healing.
Celery juice prevents cysts from thriving and expanding. The sodium cluster salts in celery juice have a saturation rate that allows them to enter hardened cystic material. When they enter, they can find the pathogens within and loosen up and break it down. Celery juice also disperses the scar tissue that can otherwise become keloids and adhesions. It provides further support by feeding and nourishing the healthy cells around the cysts, making those cells stronger so they can stop the growth of cysts that may be growing nearby.
Endometriosis. Celery juice provides undiscovered phytochemical compound inhibitors that stop abnormal tissue growth. And endometriosis is abnormal tissue cells that are growing where they’re not supposed to be growing—spreading and clinging to the bladder, the colon, the pelvic cavity and elsewhere in the body. The inhibitors inside celery juice push back on endometrial tissue that’s trying to develop outside the uterus.
The reason these abnormal cells are growing is because of toxins. Unhealthy cells develop in part because we’re constantly exposed to unhealthy, toxic foreign hormones that are in our food, water and many everyday consumer products. These hormones are in pesticides, fungicides, herbicides and plastics.
If you’re dealing with endometriosis or other women’s health issues, it’s especially important to clean up your household to whatever extent is possible. Get rid of conventional cleaning products and laundry detergents. Stop using conventional perfumes, air fresheners and candles. Note that many shoe and clothing brands spray their products with fungicides—another toxin to avoid.
Fibroids. Fibroids in the uterus have different causes, but unknown to medical research and science, the two main causes are Epstein-Barr virus and streptococcus bacteria. When a virus is the offender, the fibroid has a rounder shape. When bacteria is to blame, it looks like scar tissue or an adhesion and it takes on more of a cashew shape.
In Medical Medium Celery Juice I explain how the sodium cluster salts in celery juice seek out and destroy the viruses and bacteria that are responsible for pathogenic growth and fibroid growth. Celery juice also helps shrink fibroids.
If you have fibroids, it’s important to stay completely away from milk, cheese and butter. If you eat animal proteins, be sure it’s very clean and 100 percent grass-fed. Also, avoid pork and bacon, which are high in fat and bog down the immune system. If you’re plant-based, don’t overdo the oils and nuts—they’re also high in fat. Stay away from corn, safflower oil and cottonseed oil.
PCOS. This condition is 100 percent due to Epstein-Barr, which causes fluid-filled cysts and other ovarian injuries. The cluster salts in celery juice break down the Epstein-Barr and lower your viral load.
This truth is not recognized because people get sidetracked focusing on hormones and genes. Certainly genes are amazing in so many ways and science is trying to crack their codes and mysteries, but when it comes to chronic illness, blaming genetics is keeping people distracted. Nobody wants to look into the true cause—Epstein-Barr virus—because it would upset the industries. If the virus was tagged and people actually looked into it, they’d find that the virus is patented and has a history and a serial number. They’d realize the virus goes back to labs in the 1920s and ‘30s and that the virus got out and mutated and is creating all kinds of health problems.
With PCOS it’s critical to stay away from eggs. Unfortunately, many well-meaning health professionals give women with PCOS harmful dietary advice, including to eat a lot of eggs. The eggs help feed the virus that’s responsible for PCOS plus other pathogens, and so these women end up with a bogged down liver and even more cysts. Then due to the overwhelmed liver they gain weight, and the industry blames the PCOS for the weight gain. To understand how a sluggish and overburdened liver is the true cause of weight gain, among many other health problems, read Liver Rescue.
HPV. This virus is similar to other viruses in the herpetic family, which includes Epstein-Barr and shingles, both of which create many health issues. Sodium cluster salts in celery break down the outer membranes of the HPV virus. If you drink celery juice daily for two or three years solid you will knock down the virus, and do a whole lot of other good for your health at the same time. HPV has no immunity to celery juice.
What doctors think are cells that have been compromised due to HPV that can then lead to cancer is actually cancer caused by Epstein-Barr virus. With weapons like celery juice and the Medical Medium books you can fight these viruses and protect yourself. I share how cancers develop and how celery juice helps in Medical Medium Celery Juice.
Hypothyroid and hyperthyroid. Once again, Epstein-Barr virus is the culprit. It’s important to know that a virus is at the root of these illnesses, it is not your immune system attacking itself, as the autoimmune theory holds. Learn more about what’s really happening in so-called autoimmune disease in Thyroid Healing: The Truth behind Hashimoto's, Graves', Insomnia, Hypothyroidism, Thyroid Nodules & Epstein-Barr.
Celery juice gets right into the thyroid and kills off Epstein-Barr virus and other pathogens. It’s not going to do it in one glass though, so you need to remain committed to a daily regimen for months and sometimes for a few years. It’s important to drink it in the specific way I share in Medical Medium Celery Juice to receive its benefits.
Menopause symptoms. These result from years of the liver getting sluggish and overloaded with toxins. Hot flashes, night sweats, adrenal fatigue, hormonal imbalances, irritability, anxiety, depression, fatigue, loss of libido and more all occur when the liver has become overburdened with viruses and toxins. It takes decades for this to occur, which is why these symptoms occur for women in their late 30s, 40s or as late as their 50s, and then the symptoms are mistakenly identified as early menopause or perimenopause.
Think about what happens if you had a virus or bacteria in the past. Where does all that byproduct and debris go? Unless your liver is in great shape and you’re doing all the right things (drinking celery juice; eating a clean, low-fat diet; eating primarily fruits, leafy greens and vegetables; avoiding problematic foods); and take the right supplements, these viruses and bacteria will still be causing trouble inside the body, even if you don’t feel the resulting health challenges yet.
For many individuals, menopause symptoms can be arrested with celery juice alone. It brings back and revitalizes the liver, lowers the viral load and helps women recover. The sodium cluster salts restore the adrenals so they’re more balanced and can produce better hormones. (Remember, the adrenals produce many hormones, including reproductive hormones).
In summary, if you’re dealing with hormonal and reproductive health issues, follow these tips:
Now that you know what’s behind these health problems and some simple but powerful healing steps, you can start moving forward. Immerse yourself in the Medical Medium books for more healing information and guidance on how to best support yourself to heal.
Toxic heavy metals can cause or play a role in many different chronic illnesses and symptoms, including migraines, depression, anxiety, memory loss, brain fog, ADHD, dizziness, aches and pains, tingles and numbness, autoimmune disease, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, Parkinson's and more.
Celery juice is a potent tonic that helps disarm the toxic metals so your body can heal, as I describe in Medical Medium Celery Juice: The Most Powerful Medicine of Our Time Healing Millions Worldwide. The book explains the root causes—and solutions—for about 200 symptoms and conditions. This is all advanced healing information; medical research and science aren’t aware that toxic heavy metals (and pathogens, which feed off these toxic heavy metals and other toxins plus some of the foods people commonly eat) are to blame for so many chronic illnesses.
Increasing numbers of people, and at younger ages, are getting sicker than ever before. Even young adults, teenagers and children are experiencing all kinds of neurological and physical problems as toxic heavy metals build up in their bodies, brains, livers, intestinal tract and reproductive systems.
How We Accumulate Toxic Heavy Metals
These metals are so minuscule they’re smaller than microscopic, and even smaller than nanoscopic. We might not be able to see these culprits, but they’re definitely infiltrating our bodies and causing incredible harm. Many times we are born with them already in us. Medical communities don’t yet have the information or tools needed to find or accurately test for toxic heavy metals and don’t yet know the best way to remove them.
Metals accumulate in our bodies in a range of ways, which I outline in more detail in Medical Medium Celery Juice:
Medications: They contain various types of toxins, often including copper, aluminum and mercury.
Fluoride: This is an aluminum byproduct, a neurotoxin. It’s highly toxic to the liver, causing liver cell damage. We absorb fluoride from childhood fluoride treatments, public water that’s treated with fluoride and toothpaste that contains it.
Water: If you have your tap water tested, you’ll find that it contains multiple metals, including lead and arsenic. The EPA has deemed small amounts as safe, so the levels in public water supplies are considered safe. Unfortunately, the standard allowed in the water we drink and bathe with is anything but safe.
Air: The air we breathe, polluted by industry, contains toxic heavy metals as well.
Aluminum in cans, foil, baking and sticks of gum: The metal can leach off the product and into your body.
Pots and pans: Using aluminum or copper cookware, or even stainless steel pots and pans can mean you get a shaving of metal along with your meal. I’ve seen this a lot in restaurants, where pots and pans have been scraped to the bone with metal utensils, which means shards of metal have been inadvertently added to meals. I recommend using ceramic cookware whenever possible at home. If you use stainless steel or another metal-based cookware, do your best to avoid scraping your pots and pans.
Old metal fillings: For years the industry fought to protect these metal fillings and insisted the mercury was safe. This is an example of how something people herald as safe can be proven dangerous later. They finally switched to ceramic, but many people still have the old fillings. If you have multiple mercury fillings, I don’t recommend having them all removed at once. You can read more about this and understand why in Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal.
Copper pipes: In any home you live or stay in, copper from pipes can leach into the drinking and bathing water.
Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides: These are laden with toxic copper. Everyone has acquired some toxic metals from these commonplace products.
Inherited mercury quicksilver: When people went to the doctor in the 1700s and 1800s, they were pretty much always given quicksilver, regardless of what their health issue was. The tonic was made by heating mercury to create a liquid patients could drink. Yes, believe it or not, people were told to drink mercury for their health!
By the mid 1800s the medical establishment was collapsing and conventional doctors were called quacks because patients were going mad, they were going insane due to the quicksilver. By the turn of the century, people started turning away from those doctors and turning toward herbalists, chiropractors, naturopaths and other healers. The conventional doctors, the “quacks,” as they become known, had to advertise that they no longer used quicksilver in order to eventually get patients back.
The pervasive use of quicksilver had already done plenty of damage, however, and the consequences continue. Toxic heavy metals, including mercury, is passed down intergenerationally. In other words, our forefathers “medicinal tonic” is still poisoning us and the new generations being born today.
These are just some of the ways we are exposed to, inherit and absorb toxic heavy metals. There are more ways we accumulate them, and not just heavy metals but other toxins too. I include an exhaustive list of these troublemakers in Medical Medium Liver Rescue: Answers to Eczema, Psoriasis, Diabetes, Strep, Acne, Gout, Bloating, Gallstones, Adrenal Stress, Fatigue, Fatty Liver, Weight Issues, SIBO & Autoimmune Disease so you can understand how to limit your exposure and protect yourself and your loved ones when possible.
Celery Juice Disarms Toxic Metals
With toxic heavy metals that have been passed down through our bloodlines from thousands of years ago in our bodies plus the metals we’re exposed to on a daily basis, it’s critical to focus on removing these metals safely from the body and brain. Celery juice is a powerful tool to help you do so. You see, toxic heavy metals have a destructive charge to them, which causes them to damage cells throughout your body, including cells in your brain and liver.
Fortunately, celery juice contains something called sodium cluster salts, though this is unknown to research and science. The special properties of these salts diffuse the charge from metals like copper, mercury, aluminum, nickel, cadmium, barium, arsenic and more. The cluster salts render these toxins inactive and make them less aggressive.
Celery juice also contains powerful antioxidants. Those antioxidants separate fatty deposits—which cling to metals like suction cups—from toxic heavy metals. This separation is huge for our health because when fats cling to metals, it causes the metals to oxidize, rust and decay. Metals on their own are a poison, but when they oxidize they can then rupture, expand, change shape or run together. The discharge that’s created when metals oxidize is a corrosive runoff that’s damaging to nearby tissue.
People don’t know toxic heavy metals are rusting and rotting in our brains and bodies and causing all kinds of neurological problems, including short-term and long-term memory loss. The most common metals in the brain are mercury and aluminum, but close runners up include copper, nickel, lead and arsenic. Every individual carries different levels and different combinations of metals.
And remember how these metals carry a destructive charge within the body? When the metals cross paths and interact it can cause anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mania and schizophrenia. People end up, understandably, needing medications for mood disorders. Yet unfortunately, these medications contain metals too. That doesn’t mean medications shouldn't be used; they can be life-saving in some circumstances. But they are often overused too and that can contribute to the problem.
The Five Heavy Metal Detox Foods
Celery juice is one part of the equation for helping to remove toxic heavy metals. As you may already know from my books and healing information, it's critical to consume the five foods that work synergistically to remove toxic heavy metals daily: fresh cilantro, wild blueberries (or wild blueberry powder), Atlantic dulse, barley grass juice powder and spirulina. You can combine them into the Medical Medium Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie, which tastes delicious and offers a simple and easy way to consume them every day. Or you can eat them in another way you like over the day. The key is to consume all five foods in a 24 hour period, and do that every day. It takes time for toxic heavy metals to leave the body and we are exposed to new ones all the time, so keep up with it as much as you can. To understand more about how these five foods work together to remove metals, you can read my Heavy Metal Detox blog post.
The Damaging Duo of Fat and Metals
The destructive combination of fatty deposits and toxic heavy metals has become prolific in our bodies because of current food trends that favor diets that include a lot of fat. Fat makes metals even more dangerous in our bodies. These metals can cause severe mental and physical degeneration, including ALS, Alzheimers and Parkinson's.
There are people on clean paleo diets and people on clean plant-based diets, people who do animal products and people who don’t. And of course there’s many people who eat a Standard American Diet (SAD) with plenty of high fat foods. People in all camps are suffering with chronic illness and mystery symptoms. This is in part because all these diets are still too high in fat. A diet rich in protein for instance will also be rich in fat, and when it comes to healing chronic illness and symptoms, that’s not a good thing. There’s only a tiny minority of people who follow a truly low fat diet. If you have been reading and applying the Medical Medium book series information diligently for a while now, you might be one of the very few who do.
People see some improvement when they move from a Standard American Diet to anything else, including a keto diet, which is very high in fat, because any diet that removes processed foods, fried foods, greasy fast foods, bad sugars and so on. Eliminating bad fats and moving to healthier fats, along with some processed sugars and chemicals that are in a Standard American Diet is a step in the right direction and it can therefore bring some results. But it’s not nearly enough to reverse chronic illness and symptoms long term or to prevent more symptoms and conditions from eventually developing in the future, especially when the continued high fat intake is combined with the toxic modern world we live in.
A Favored Food of Pathogens
Another problem with toxic heavy metals is that both feed pathogens. Those bugs—viruses and bacteria such as shingles, Epstein-Barr, streptococcus and many more—are a major cause of chronic illness, including autoimmune diseases. I explain the true cause of these conditions in Thyroid Healing: The Truth behind Hashimoto's, Graves', Insomnia, Hypothyroidism, Thyroid Nodules & Epstein-Barr. It’s still unknown to research and science, but pathogens are responsible for a wide range of illnesses, including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, thyroid conditions, eczema, acne and MS. Again, check out Medical Medium Celery Juice for the causes and cures for about 200 conditions.
The Cleansing Power of Celery Juice
We don’t have to keep suffering emotionally, physically and mentally because of toxic heavy metals. Celery juice not only disarms the metals, but it also provides the best electrolyte source on the planet. Nothing can surpass its unique blend of trace minerals, which offer all the elements needed by your neurotransmitters (and neurotransmitters play a huge role in brain and body function and mood). Celery juice cleanses your neurotransmitters and hydrates them, rejuvenating them and making them more useful. On top of that, celery juice protects your neurons from toxic heavy metal runoff.
Check out Medical Medium Celery Juice for more detail, and get started with these steps to detoxify metals:
I hope you will try these steps for removing metals, because you deserve to heal and protect yourself. Toxic heavy metals are responsible for so many problems, but you can get them out. I believe in you, and I stand behind you on your healing journey. Take it one step at a time.
Medical science and research are unaware of the true cause of fibroids at this time so people sadly don't receive the direction and help they need to heal this condition. In Medical Medium Celery Juice: The Most Powerful Medicine of Our Time Healing Millions Worldwide, I share the two causes of fibroids and help you to understand why celery juice is such a powerful healing tool for fibroids and countless other symptoms and conditions. Read on to discover more about fibroids.
"Fibroids in the uterus take various forms, with their cause unknown by medical research and science. The truth is that fibroids are sometimes caused by viruses such as Epstein-Barr and other times caused by bacteria such as strep. When it’s viral, it’s more of a cystic variety of fibroid, with a rounder shape. When it’s bacterial, it’s more like scar tissue or an adhesion inside the reproductive system. The sodium cluster salts in celery juice seek out and destroy bacteria and viruses, minimizing the pathogenic loads responsible for fibroids while also helping shrink existing fibroids."
It’s critical to know how to drink celery juice in the specific way I recommend so you can get the full healing benefits from this herbal extraction. In Medical Medium Celery Juice, I share exact instructions and guidance on how to drink celery juice to get the best results from it, along with what not to do, and additional healing guidance to help you heal.
Neurological conditions like Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome and multiple sclerosis can create as much fear and despair as they do physical suffering. But once you understand that the true cause of these illnesses is actually a virus, and once you learn how to systematically eliminate that pathogen, you’ll be empowered to take your health back into your hands. Medical research and science aren;t yet aware that it’s viruses behind autoimmune conditions, but here I’ll share with you what’s really happening inside the body. For an in-depth explanation of what I call the “Autoimmune Confusion”, read my chapter on this topic in Medical Medium Thyroid Healing: The Truth behind Hashimoto's, Graves', Insomnia, Hypothyroidism, Thyroid Nodules & Epstein-Barr.
Celery juice is a miraculous herbal elixir, and it’s a powerful tool for anyone experiencing neurological and autoimmune issues. In Medical Medium Celery Juice: The Most Powerful Medicine of Our Time Healing Millions Worldwide, I explain how the medicinal properties of celery juice heal neurological conditions and dozens of other autoimmune diseases.
Debunking a False and Damaging Theory
The entire autoimmune theory is based on a false premise that your body is attacking itself. This idea arose back around the 1950s after people started pouring into their doctors offices out of nowhere. Decades ago, I talked to a doctor who was then in his 90s. He remembered that beginning in the late 1940s, patients started streaming in with fatigue, neurological complaints and mysterious symptoms. Before that time patients mostly came in periodically with problems like appendicitis or a heart attack or a stroke, but suddenly there were droves of people–mostly women–reporting new symptoms. He said he and his colleagues would shake their heads wondering what was going on.
This was the dark age of chronic illness. Medical communities couldn't find an explanation, but they noticed autoantibodies were present through blood tests. So they came up with the theory that the immune system is destroying the body’s own organs, glands and connective tissue. There was no proof this theory was true then, and there continues to be no proof today. Those antibodies are there because your immune system has created them to seek out a pathogen inside your body, and it’s this pathogen that is causing the symptoms that get lumped under autoimmune labels today.
The autoimmune theory of the body attacking itself was cemented in, and we continue to live with it decades later as an ever increasing number of mysterious conditions are labeled autoimmune. It’s outrageous that with all the technology and advances we have made, this theory still stands. Think about cars in the 1950s, or the phones from the 1950s, and how much they’ve changed. But when it comes to chronic illness, we’re still in the dark ages. Medical communities still don’t know why so many people are getting sick, and at younger and younger ages. And unfortunately, science and research are looking in all the wrong places and putting the focus on areas like genetics, when it’s not our genes that are responsible for chronic illnesses, but viruses, bacteria, heavy metals and other toxins. You can find out the true causes of almost 200 symptoms and conditions, including many which are wrongly considered to be genetic, in Medical Medium Celery Juice.
Your Immune System, Working Hard
As I share in Thyroid Healing, the truth is your body never attacks itself. Your immune system can become burdened or weakened by various factors, but it doesn’t ever turn on you.
In the case of neurological autoimmune conditions, what’s happening is a virus is feeding on its favorite foods, including toxic heavy metals, like mercury, copper and aluminum; eggs, dairy, corn and gluten; pesticides, fungicides and herbicides. Unknown to medical research and science, a virus is a living thing and it needs to eat to survive. This is some of the information I delivered that medical communities are only beginning to consider. One of the by-products a virus creates and eliminates after it feeds on these foods is what I call a neurotoxin. These neurotoxins inflame the nervous systems of anyone dealing with autoimmune symptoms and that’s what causes neurological symptoms. Medical research and science are unaware of these viral neurotoxins.
The Epstein-Barr virus is often the culprit. There are more than 60 strains and mutations of Epstein-Barr, though science and research hasn't discovered this yet, so most of these strains won’t even show up on a blood test. Other troublemakers include undiscovered strains of shingles (some of which don’t cause a rash at all) and multiple mutations of HHV6, including HHV7, HHV10 and HHV16. (Bacteria, by the way, doesn’t create neurological symptoms because bacteria doesn’t produce neurotoxins when it feeds).
These elusive, problematic pathogens can bury deep inside the body and its organs, making it impossible for current medical testing to identify them. Meanwhile, your loyal immune system is doing its best to seek out and destroy these elusive, problematic pathogens and that’s why autoantibodies can show in a blood test–they’re going after the virus, not attacking your own body.
How Celery Juice Helps Heal Neurological Symptoms
So many people have lost years of their lives, their relationships, or their jobs due to autoimmune disease and neurological symptoms. They’ve been hurt and crushed being chronically sick for years and being told damaging misinformation about why they’re sick. Celery juice is an incredible tool to help move these people forward with healing when nothing or little else has.
Celery juice contains undiscovered sodium cluster salts that break down the membrane of viruses and disarm and weaken the toxic heavy metals these viruses feed on. The celery juice then helps flush the residue out of your body, ultimately lowering inflammation.
People who have an autoimmune disease will also eventually suffer from endocrine issues as a result of the virus and its by-products infecting, inflaming and weakening the endocrine system, including the pancreas, adrenals, thyroid, pituitary gland, pineal gland and hypothalamus. Celery juice contains a natural plant hormone that is undiscovered that feeds and replenishes every single gland in the endocrine system. By balancing out the endocrine system, healthy levels of hormones can be restored over time, especially if the other healing information I share in the Medical Medium book series is followed.
Below I will cover a few common neurological autoimmune conditions that are misdiagnosed and misunderstood, however I cover these conditions and many more in great depth in the Medical Medium books so I encourage you to read and refer to them for further information and healing guidance. I also share exactly how celery juice helps each condition in Medical Medium Celery Juice.
Fibromyalgia. This is caused by Epstein Barr virus’ neurotoxins. The neurotoxins land on nerves and are an allergen to your nerves. They’re responsible for peripheral and central nerve inflammation that results in the aches, pains, fatigue, stiffness, and tenderness fibro sufferers experience.
You might be surprised to learn this: Lyme disease is a viral condition, not a bacterial condition. It’s not caused by bacteria—borrelia, bartonella and babesia or any others (the list of falsely accused bacteria will likely keep growing). If Lyme disease was caused by bacteria, then antibiotics could take care of it. You see, borrelia, bartonella and babesia aren’t super bugs, like the various forms of MRSA and c.diff. So antibiotics would effectively killing the so-called Lyme bacteria. Bacteria doesn’t cause neurological symptoms. But viruses do.
Most people’s Lyme disease symptoms are caused by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), though all other viruses in the herpetic family can also cause them, including HHV-6, all the way up through the undiscovered HHV-9, HHV-10, HHV-11, and HHV-12. If you find this surprising or difficult to believe or you simply want to know more about it, the best thing to do is to read the chapter on Lyme disease in Medical Medium: Secrets Behind Chronic and Mystery Illness and How to Finally Heal. I explain how Lyme disease has come to be seen as a bacterial illness, the truth about tick bites, how to begin healing from Lyme disease and much more.
Whether you believe Lyme disease is a bacterial issue or you now understand it’s a virus, celery juice is a powerful tool for healing. Celery juice kills off both bad bacteria and viruses. You can start to move forward with healing from Lyme disease by drinking celery juice daily in the way I recommend in Medical Medium Celery Juice, drinking the Medical Medium Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie daily, taking the right form of vitamin B12 to heal the neurological symptoms and reading the Medical Medium books to learn what foods to avoid and what supplements to take.
Epstein-Barr virus is the unknown cause of MS. The virus releases neurotoxins that inflame the central nervous system and can also reach the brain where it can cause lesions and mild forms of encephalitis. Celery juice can break down the outer membranes of virus’s cells and kill it off. Celery juice also contains plant hormones that will help balance your endocrine system, which is important because people with MS develop endocrine system problems too, like Hashimoto's or adrenal fatigue. Celery juice will help lift you out of these conditions along with the other healing information and steps I share in the Medical Medium books. If you have MS, you can help rebuild your central nervous system through celery juice plus certain foods and supplements such as B12 with adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin, spirulina, leafy greens and more fruits, especially berries like wild blueberries.
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Fortunately, chronic fatigue is now at least recognized as a real problem, but sadly medical communities still don’t know what’s causing it. Chronic fatigue has always been caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. Once again, the neurotoxins produced by the virus are bringing about brain and nervous system inflammation. Before chronic fatigue syndrome was described and given a name by medical communities, I was calling it neurological fatigue, because that’s exactly what it is: a deep and debilitating fatigue caused by inflammation of the nervous system due to viral neurotoxins.
Remember, there are more than 60 strains of Epstein-Barr virus, and some are more aggressive, so they create stronger neurotoxins that inflame the nervous system. Neurons in the brain are easily affected by these viral neurotoxins, leading to brain fog, confusion, fatigue, difficulty waking, heaviness of the body, and more.
Celery juice is your best weapon for fighting the virus that causes CFS. People who suffer from this illness have compromised immune systems and white blood cells. Celery juice contains undiscovered forms of vitamin C and the trace minerals that will strengthen your immune system and bring it peace. Know too that many people who have CFS are later diagnosed with Lyme disease. When you understand the connections and know that the same virus is at fault for both conditions, you can understand why you might be suffering with both and work on addressing the true root cause: EBV.
These are just a handful of the neurological autoimmune conditions that so many people suffer with. There are hundreds more that are misunderstood and misdiagnosed. You can now know the true causes of your chronic illnesses and symptoms and those your loved ones suffer with too. That’s what I share with you in Medical Medium Celery Juice and the other Medical Medium books. You’ll also find out how you can heal and protect your health for the future. I stand behind you 100 percent. I’ve got your back. I wish you well. You can heal.
